Wasn't that bad I've seen worst we all do , main reason of watching this movie I wanted to kill some time in early morning 5am so other genres won't fit at this time so comedy was my choice also because of Alexandra Daddario in it , The movie was funny enough for me wasn't that great and wasn't that bad either so don't depend on the rating and reviews all the time !
Alexandria Daddario and Kate Upton are obviously having a blast in the occasionally funny raunchy comedy. And they both come through in the eye candy department as well. They'll have you wondering which of them you'd choose if you were the lucky guy they were smitten with. It's light and fluffy. And watchable, of course, Kate and Alexandria would be.
It is actually a fun movie. The girls did a fine job and the movie did not looked like it was scripted
Meg (Kate Upton) and Kate (Alexandra Daddario) are best friends since childhood. The two Seattle roommates are struggling and Meg decides on a girls trip to Fort Lauderdale. They have hunky Ryan (Matt Barr) sitting in between them and a competition ensues. The plane is diverted to St. Louis due to a hurricane. They stay at a hotel with fellow passengers. The threesome join passenger Craig (Matt Jones) on a drive to the Fort.
William H. Macy tries his hand at directing. It's questionable how two of the hottest women on the planet would fight over the same guy. Sure he's hunky but these girls could snap their fingers and get any guy they want. As for their acting talents, Kate Upton functions well for an SI Swimsuit model. Daddario actually has some comedic skills although that's not her natural talents. It's also weird to have her as a less-hot side kick. That standard role has a pantheon of great actresses. I don't think she is build to play one. While this has some slapstick fun, it can never overcome the hot-girl-struggles problem. Daddario is too hot to be the dumpy best friend. Although I love Daddario, her role needs to be given to a real comedian. The script is nothing to write home about. I do sympathize with the girls trying their best.

The Layover is an R-rated comedy starring Kate Upton and Alexandra Daddrio. The film has its moments but it's clear from its trailers what to expect. Being largely panned from critics, one should have low expectations when watching. At most, the Layover, the film feels like a teenage sitcom or something in which twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have done in their time back then.
The comedy isn't too forced but it really isn't funny in many ways. Predictable and television type humor. The film isn't too long which passes time quickly, though other than most there is some entertainment watching both leads interact with one another. It's a light hearted comedy, perhaps some critics are being too harsh. It's what to expect.
