With many decades having passed since the 1983 release of John Carpenter's Christine, it's safe to say that the movie's cast has done a lot since then. Carpenter's horror film was written by Bill Phillips, based on Stephen King's horror novel of the same name. It follows a teenage nerd named Arnie Cunningham, who becomes obsessed with his new car, the titular Christine. Like the author's other works, the story takes a dark turn, with Christine revealed to be one of Stephen King's many killer cars prevalent in his novels and short stories.
Given its focus on teenage characters, the film adaptation starred a number of young actors who were just starting out in their careers, including Alexandra Paul, John Stockwell, and Kelly Preston. While relative unknowns in 1983, they've mostly gone on to have long careers in the many years since Christine's premiere, becoming much bigger names than they...

Murder, She Wrote is a TV series that has been concluded for ages. Yet many of the moments and quotes still linger with fans, even years later. Jessica Fletcher was an iconic character, to put it mildly. And that is likely one of the many reasons her words have lasted as well as they have in the minds of fans.
Murder, She Wrote did lend for several dramatic and quotable moments. Some of these moments are our favorites, naturally. It helps that the town Jessica Fletcher lived in seemed to be so riddled with murderers. So we've gone ahead and collected ten of our favorite quotes spoken by the one and only Jessica Fletcher.
Updated January 23rd, 2023 by Amanda Bruce: When it comes to fictional TV detectives, a lot of fans tend to remember those in police procedurals first, but old-school detective shows, like Columbo and Murder, She Wrote...

Movie fans focused on VOD value this week — an easy choice, with no new major releases. (That will change in a few days with the Warner Bros. original family title “Scoob!” at $19.99.) Sony’s “Bloodshot” opened the last weekend theaters operated, became a $19.99 premium VOD offering a few weeks later, and last Tuesday it dropped to $5.99. It now stands in the top three for all of our reported charts, including #1 at Amazon Prime, and #2 at FandangoNow which ranks by amount paid, not transactions.
“I Still Believe” dropped its prices to $5.99 this week, and their chart placements improved. This flags a potential issue: How many people will get used to holding off for a few weeks, in exchange for seeing the price drop by 60 percent or more? Many of these viewers were content to wait three months after initial theatrical play, so delaying rental for a month might not be a tough choice.

Another month, another Wesley Snipes film. He sure is on the comeback trail now right? Ok, maybe not, especially given that this, like Final Recall, has headed direct to DVD. To be fair though, the “another month, another…” could also apply to WWE studios, who seem to have gone back to churning out direct to market films much like when they first stepped into the world of film production. Following the usual standard of having one of the many WWE Superstars take a break from the wrestling ring and appear on-screen, Armed Response features the “Kingslayer” himself, Seth Rollins, in a supporting role – yes, a supporting role. Featuring arguably the most beloved zombie ever put to film, George A. Romero's Day of the Dead is a seminal standout in the horror genre that has grown a diehard fanbase in the thirty-plus years since its release. New takes on Romero's groundbreaking 1985 film were featured in 2005's Day of the Dead 2: Contagium and 2008's Day of the Dead, and now Saban Films has acquired the Us rights to Millennium Media's new Day of the Dead reimagining, with a release expected late this year:

A team of commandos tries to secure a secret site housing a lie-detecting supercomputer in John Stockwell's Armed Response, but that's far from the whole picture. First-timer Matt Savelloni's, er, ambitious screenplay aims to pivot from John Carpenter-style under-siege thrills to a weird sort of supernatural-vengeance horror. But it fails on these and several other fronts, making an inauspicious choice for Wesley Snipes' first top-billed theatrical release since he got out of prison in 2013. The picture's idiocy might have been predicted from the press release announcing it as the first joint venture between geriatric sleaze-rocker Gene Simmons and the...

Seth Rollins is one of the biggest WWE Superstars today. A two-time world champion, he’s headlined countless Pay-Per-Views and is responsible for one of the most memorable WrestleMania moments of all-time when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Brock Lesnar. He’s also the cover star of the upcoming WWE 2K18 video game and is now set to take on his first major big screen role in WWE Studios’ upcoming Armed Response.
In the movie, a team of special forces soldiers approach the designer of a high-tech military compound to investigate the disappearance of another team guarding the facility. The compound, known professionally as a Temple, is an artificial intelligence powered facility designed for interrogating high-level prisoners. Upon entering the Temple, the soldiers find the team horrifically slaughtered but no evidence as to who is responsible.

I always enjoyed watching a good Wesley Snipes movie and he's got a new action film coming out called Armed Response. We have a new trailer for you to watch for this movie today and it actually doesn't look too bad. It actually has kind of a 90s action movie vibe to it that I kinda dig.
The story centers on a small team of armed soldiers who infiltrate a facility that is controlled by an advanced artificial intelligence. Obviously, the shit hits the fan once they enter the building and get locked in. It's explained in the plot summary that "The crew begins to experience strange and horrific phenomena as they attempt to uncover what killed the previous team."
The movie also stars Anne Hesch, Gene Simmons, Seth Rollins, and Dave Annable. I'd actually love to see Snipes make a major comeback as an actor! Hell, the guy looks...

"Whoever did this is still inside." Saban Films has debuted the trailer for a weird new sci-fi action thriller titled Armed Response, starring Wesley Snipes - who seems to be back in action between this and The Recall. The film is about a crew of special forces soldiers who go to a special high-tech military compound to investigate the disappearance of another team guarding the facility. The facility, known as a "Temple", is run by artificial intelligence designed to interrogate high level prisoners. But things get very strange as soon as they arrive. This also stars Anne Heche, Dave Annable, Gene Simmons, Anthony Azizi, and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. I really don't know what to think of this - could be bad, could be okay. Take a look. There was once a time when Wesley Snipes was one of the biggest action stars in Hollywood. Since then, however, the actor has flown under the radar, in large part due to being taken out of the game due to a minor misunderstanding with the IRS. Since then, the actor has been looking for a comeback and now he hopes he’s found it by inking a multi-picture deal between his own production company and another haven of action, the WWE.
