I don't know why people are saying it doesn't have any story.

If you look at it closely Aadu really has a well written story The way how the sub plots are connected to the main plot is just amazing !!!

The movie was a torrent hit in Kerala, hence I watched it expecting a little story and lots of comedy. But the story was much less than expected. The comedy too wasn't that great. I didn't like it much.

one of the best crafted comedy movie...unluckily it was not featured well by the media for its appealing comedy.It is a worth watchable movie and became a hit among youngsters especially after its DVD release. The story is unique and and fresh humour revolves around typical characters like dude , 'shaji papan' is appealing.the story is based on superstition of 'neelakoduveli' and its believed power of luck . it is kind of travel movie with lots of humour scenes across their journey back home after winning a goat and prize money in vadamvali competition. the punch dialogues and introductory songs for every unique character is worth enjoyable .it is also expected to have sequel for aadu oru bheegara jeevi anu.

With the main lead's irregular hate for women there build up a slapstick comedy movie with each character got their own theme song.

The movie, considering a slapstick comedy with a nice screenplay, many funny scene and the songs make this good multiple watches with a popcorn in hands.

Most of it's scene, even some could be more of sentimental type is portrayed in a funny way.

Even the point of precision for every character is appreciable.

I don't get why so many hate for this, and this deserve mere more rating. In terms of performance and screenplay.

I would give this film a solid 8 rather.
