The first episode premiered on 1 May 2015 with a duration of 58 minutes, while the second episode was released on 8 May of 2015, also lasting 58 minutes, the miniseries lasted 2 hours in total.

It is said, that bank formerly was the headquarter for a travelling agency called "Det Ôsttyska Rejsebyrån",(The East German Travelling Agency) but the government and other institutions in DDR would never call themselves or their institutions "East German." They regarded DDR as an independent state and not as an eastern part of Germany. Therefore a travelling agency would have been named "Reisebüro DDRs", "DDR-reisen" or something similar. In the eyes of the DDR-regime the term "East German" was a Western hostile and imperialist concept.
