Not as bad as I heard

It was 5 stars .

It was in no way "good".

But it wasn't nearby as bad as reviews led me to believe.

I smirked through most of it and chuckled a few times with one belly laugh.

I think Ferrell and Poehler worked OK together.

Worth a watch.

People here are too harsh on this movie

I can understand why some people dont like this movie. Giving it 1/10 is being too harsh though.

I really enjoyed this movie.

Funny Movie

Will and Amy are a funny individuals and as a couple they churn up good comedy, but movie could have been funnier. Felt like some parts were incompletely developed as it seemed more like gathering of family members uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins etc to enjoy one big party than ensemble of good comedians to make a comic movie. Nevertheless not a dull moment as in any Will Ferrell movie.

Just simple lauchter

Oh man, just one thing to say. Laughed off....finally a movie after some years after the hangover standard which I really found funny! That's all I can say

Trivia
Mariah Carey was scheduled to film a cameo but her scenes were never filmed. Will Ferrell recalled that she showed up four hours late, then didn't want to do the scene she had agreed to do. She then delayed production by not wanting to sing the song (one of her own) that she was supposed to sing. This would have required the legal department to clear the song. Carey also required her trailer to be filled with white flowers and stuffed lambs. Carey's scene was ultimately not filmed.

Goofs
When Scott has trouble recalling the combination to the safe, Kate encourages him by saying that he can remember 4 sequential numbers. When Scott does remember the combination it is 8 numbers plus #. Then the combination punched in to open the safe beeps 7 times, which means only 6 numbers were entered with the # sign.
