    Sweet film.

This film was pretty predictable- spolied rude person needs a life lesson and ends up being kind and good. Although it doesn't sound very exciteable, it was actually really well acted and I really enjoyed the way all the characters interacted so well. In particular I thought the side plot romance of mum and pizza manager was thoughtful and well acted. Watching the main character throw herself in at work was lovely too and the pizza looked fab.

Good movie good plot and good characters

At first I thought it was going to be one of those no real plot movies but it surprised me. I ended up enjoying it. I loved the story and the actors.

I would have given it a 10 but the last scene was too predictable. I will still watch it again if it comes on.

    Some good humor

When it comes to these Hallmark movies one has to set the bar to what they are: Girl meets boy, fall for each other, have a misunderstanding, and love wins out in the end. Rinse & repeat. As much as I like action, sci-fi, and even raunchy comedy, I like Hallmark romances because they are a complete break from violence and coarse language. Reminiscent of 1950's RomComs. Good clean fun where you don't have to think too much about it while being entertained.

What makes some Hallmark movies better than others is how they get there, For me, likeability of the lead and inserting some humor in the story really boosts how much I enjoy the movie. Although not quite as good as Harvest Moon, this similar movie also has some good humor in it that makes it very enjoyable. As unlikeable as the lead is to start, after getting a taste of her own medicine while poor, realizes just how awful she was. She does become very likeable as a result. Her journey is laced with humor and there's several other likeable characters involved as well. I really did enjoy this movie as a result.

Stick with it! Blossoms into a beautiful story.

At the start, I found the lead character unbearable and nearly gave up, but as she truly finds the best version of herself, this becomes a great movie. All kids should get a job in their mid-teens and really value their own and other people's time and money - it is just as important as school - otherwise they'll be immature for years, just like this girl. There's a good age range and mix of characters/situations so something for most of us to identify with. The story and the movie itself show that, despite the grief, 'bad' things are often something to be thankful for, and not always bad things after all.

You got to stick with it

I fully understand those that turned off the movie after 10 minutes, I almost did because the lead character was awful, but stick with it and if you are a lover of romance or redemption then it will put a smile on your face, I know it worked for me.
