    Absolutley amazing movie

I loved every minute of this movie. My favorite stars were here. The storyline appealed to me. I love movies where characters evolve and relationships are tested. The picture was amazingly clear. Story of a young woman who experiences a life changing event that tests her in every way. The new relationships she forms along the way become a blessing to her and her true character evolves. A romantic, fun, sweet movie. It ended well. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

    Autumn Moon?

So ... came out about the same time as Autumn Moon. Same story - different location, different parent. Basically same story. Gotta say Jessy Schram is far more likable than Anna Hutchison. Hallmark really needs to embrace more story lines. At least this one has Constance Marie - a joy in most roles.

    nice fairy tale

A Hallmark as so many other. The difference, at the level of nuances, is made by actors and by the axis of this seductive story.

A rich woman proposes a bitter lesson to her spoled daughter. The result of this bitter medicine is more than great - two jobs, a boyfriend, the son of boyfriend becoming more than important part of her preocupation.

But, sure, the lesson is not only for student useful in this case , but for teacher to.

Being an insignificant admirer of Costas Mandylor, I admired his more than good job in the role of pizzeria boss. But, in same measure, I admired the fair and fine manner to use all the potential of her role by Gaile O Grady. The result is just charming.

The little problem - maybe Jonathan Patrick Moore. For my taste, to young for the role of father, coach, boss of sport articles shop. But, sure, it is only a problem of taste and the beauty of the last scene, so predictable, is result of exactly this young look.

So, exactly a nice fairy tale.

    Pleasant surprise after witchy start

This movie starts with a premise that isn't quite as overused as some - rich girl goes broke. I kind of expected something like Harvest Moon.

Then about half way the story takes a turn I didn't expect and I liked it. But once that was established, the ending was predictable.

I wasn't in the mood to watch Anna Hutchison be a witch so I used FF button a lot through the first 20 minutes. After that she does become a different person and it was one of the more blatant personality swings I've seen. I always have to remind myself that this genre of movie always pushes reality way to the side and that's to be expected.

Anna Hutchison and Jonathan Patrick Moore had chemistry and it was nice watching them together.

The kid is a bit precocious, but adds a nice touch.

    Some good humor

When it comes to these Hallmark movies one has to set the bar to what they are: Girl meets boy, fall for each other, have a misunderstanding, and love wins out in the end. Rinse & repeat. As much as I like action, sci-fi, and even raunchy comedy, I like Hallmark romances because they are a complete break from violence and coarse language. Reminiscent of 1950's RomComs. Good clean fun where you don't have to think too much about it while being entertained.

What makes some Hallmark movies better than others is how they get there, For me, likeability of the lead and inserting some humor in the story really boosts how much I enjoy the movie. Although not quite as good as Harvest Moon, this similar movie also has some good humor in it that makes it very enjoyable. As unlikeable as the lead is to start, after getting a taste of her own medicine while poor, realizes just how awful she was. She does become very likeable as a result. Her journey is laced with humor and there's several other likeable characters involved as well. I really did enjoy this movie as a result.
