Among the bottom feeding movies on prime.

This movie did one thing right. The protagonaist spent most of the movie sleeping, and i found i could also spend most of the movie sleeping.

The sound editor should also be taking their meds.

    Actually pretty good

I had low expectations of this but its not a bad film. Low budget obviously but quite a strong story and the central question is an interesting one.

There's actually a lot of love in the movie and some nicely played scenes with the lead and her gran and father in particular. Some okay jump scares too.

its not ground breaking but the reviews here are too harsh and its definitely worth a watch.

its not quickly paced, but what one person sees as slow another finds tension building.

I'll be looking out for what the writer and director does next

A Terribly Made Sweet Haunting Story

This movie is the opposite of most of the bad horror movies I've seen. This movie had a good idea and the script is written well and it has an especially sweet ending. The problems with this movie are in the execution. It needed better actors, better scene design and better music. The acting is so wooden by virtually everyone, it is hard to understand or identify with any character. The music is almost laughable in how standard it is for the scenes.

It really is disappointing that this story did not get the attention it deserved.

Someone plays ouija and bad things happen?

Really? 'A beautiful woman haunted by an evil spirit?' Who writes these summaries? What does it matter if she was beautiful if in the end even that didn't manage to keep our attention?

I tried watching this film twice, once alone and again with two friends, and both times, everyone stopped paying attention 15 minutes in.

So yeah I have no idea what this movie is about and therefore am not even qualified to write this review. Hell maybe its my fault for watching too many horror movies.

One star for not having annoying noises while I play it in the background. Another star for 30 minutes of my life.

    Unnecessarily Vague in Key Areas

This film essentially begins with a teenage girl named "Sara" (Tara Shayne) going on a camping trip with her boyfriend "Brian" (Marty Dew). Also joining the trip is Brian's best friend, "Santiago" (Richard Muller), who has just broken up with his girlfriend and has nothing better to do. Along the way, they stop at a house that was recently the scene of a horrendous murder, and while inside, Santiago finds an Ouija board that they take with them. That night, while in the woods, Brian and Santiago summon a spirit that tells them that Sara is going to kill Santiago, but stops in the middle of the sentence without explaining anything further. Sure enough, Santiago is indeed killed, but even though Sara is the first one to discover his body, she had nothing to do with it. It's then that she learns through her dreams that the spirit wants her to kill her next victim, or it will murder that person instead--and it won't stop killing until Sara does what it wants. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will simply say that this film had a good underlying premise, but it contained several key scenes that were not fully developed, which left me wondering what was going on at times. Additionally, although it had a couple of decent jump scares here and there, most of the actual horror scenes weren't nearly as explicit as they should have been as well. That being said, despite the intriguing premise, I found the overall movie to be rather boring, and I have rated it accordingly.
