This program is very strange. I like to watch it as I have no lectures many days of the week and have run out of TV shows to watch. This truly fills a gap that Keeping up With the Kardashians has no hope to fill.

The characters are largely amusing, if a little ridiculous at times, and it makes for excellent entertainment on those lazy days. But it's interesting to watch and see how these people live, and having never been to Cheshire, I shall now assume that that is all there is to living there. And besides, it perfectly complements a viewing schedule of TOWIE and Gogglebox.

However, as I have noticed that many people have given it bad reviews, I suspect it won't last for very long. And I think that's a real shame, because this is more of a cultural insight into the lives of others than anything else.

As unwatchable as you would expect

I mistakenly turned to this channel and did not realise what I was watching. Imagine a group of women, dressed badly as 20 year olds on a night out despite being twice that age, with mind numbingly inane conversation, The type of people you would actively avoid in reality and would make Katie Price look classy, you get the idea. It is hard to believe that people exist like this and are not actors playing a little Britain type of spoof.

    I'm embarrassed to be British

They do it so much better in the U. S., don't they?

This is the sort of tv that makes you want to gouge out your eyes just to make it stop. A bunch of footballers' wives with almost no redeeming features showcase their lives, mortifying an entire county in the process.

For the uninformed, Cheshire is in the North West of England. It's an attractive part of the country, filled with pretty villages, and has historic Chester as its county town. Its proximity to cities such as Manchester and Liverpool make living there a good place to enjoy the best of both the metropolitan and the rural life. Unfortunately this proximity to the aforementioned cities is what makes it the main stamping ground of the dreaded WAG.

What amazes me is that any of these women would think that participating in this televisual excrement would be in any way beneficial. From the trashy trash talk in the opening credits, you gasp in disbelief that anyone with a grain of common sense would think that this was a good way to introduce yourself to the wider community. And they all seem to have made it by marrying money, either footballer money or millionaire-businessman money. They then swan about in oversized, hideously-decorated mansions, bragging and bitching, and looking for a fight. That's when they're not shuttling between the beauty salon, the jewellers, the cosmetic surgeon....

I'm sorry but these women are just dreadful. Thick, crass, gobby, vain, shallow and appallingly ill-mannered, they make a mockery of womens' emancipation, not because they married money, which is not a bad thing in itself, but because they failed to understand how to behave when they got it.

'Beverly Hills' does it so much better.

    Great Series for this Franchise!

The Real Hosuewives of Cheshire was alittle bit of surprise for me! I remeber catching it on an all day marathon during New Years Day, a while back!

I was extremely surprised that this show didn't do well here in the States, or that it wasn't promoted heavily. This franchise is one of the better one's. The first season starts off with a bang! We have five women (three Western Europe ladies, two African European ladies).

It reminded a lot of The first season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, and the original Real of Housewives of Washington, DC. I can see why folks really enjoyed watching this.

The leading lady's name was Dawn. She had this huge castle. Her main rival was an African Dutch lady named Magali. It was sort of like the Nene and Kim Dynamic! Way to funny. The series finale has a surprise villian- with one of the husbands getting drunk at Dawn's birthday party and yelling at one her dauhter's.

It was way too comical! The second season focused on the group trying to turn on Dawn. It was really funny. The drama was more light hearted and focused on London's rich society sort of like Beverly Hills and Washington, DC.

The third season, I couldn't really get into. They had this Russian lady join the cast. I'm not quite sure why they didn't explain her background. She couldn't speak English well.

You'll love this one! It's really good!

    Boring af

Won't be watching this series , talk about a bunch of over the top immature women , would be better if there was a storyline but it's literally just wonen with too much momey and time on there hands making drama about nothing
