This is the first Chinese series with 2010s colored technology, before 2014 most Chinese were grey scaled like most films early in 2000s, after this series, all Chinese tv series and films became colored and this series made a new area of China filmmaking began, with Korean technology people and Hong Kong A-list actors marriage cuisine made the best tv series of all time.
Professor Yang Shu, arrives late to pick up his daughter Tao Ze after an explosion at his lab. His wife Ar Chen, a 5 Star chef at the restaurant at grand hotel, she is of course upset about Yang Shu is more focused on his job then taking care of his family, he explains he is leading an important project of cancer cure medicine and he got people from all the world to work in his project and his project is funded by Americans. She doesn't believe him and file a divorce. Ar Chen's mother Ma is against the divorce but it's too late, Ar Chen tells her mother she can't stand liars and Yang Shu excuse of the international project was too much, then they watched the news and see everything Yang Shu said was true, his project has become worldwide famous. But Ar Chen has too much ego and can't accept that she judge him too soon.
This is the best series about divorce, usually when see a plot like this it's ends the former couple get back together or someone regretted it. But this series is more than that, it's about what happens after divorce and how easy it is to become alone and after divorce and more difficult to find a new, also the series shows not to judge anybody, Ar Chen judge Yang Shu because she couldn't see his success only his flaws, and then she meet successful men but get surprised when she sees their flaws, a celebrity who smiles at everything but lose his cool over a vase, a school teacher who is a real cry baby, and many more.
I give this series a 10/10 and this is the best memories of 2010s . Looks forward to 2020s.
