Speed Dating

Cindy Krapfel ably directed this cute little film that was written by Stefanie Davis. It begins with Brooke and Traci attending a speed dating session with extremely low expectations. However, the characters that show up are even worse than the women could have imagined. So, they take solace by drinking more and more wine with each weirdo they encounter. One guy announces right away that he doesn't want to date and is only doing this because his mother says she'll throw this middle-aged man out of her basement if he doesn't go! Another actually BRINGS his mother with him to let her pick out a bride! They don't get much better until near the end where both ladies meet someone who isn't completely terrible!

The humor is what makes this film worth seeing. It's way over the top and silly...but you'll find yourself laughing as you watch. Clever....very clever.

Wonderful bunch of characters, each with their unique desires and so representative of those who are into the crazy search for "Love" or some substitute for that warm security of committed relationship. Excellent script which is brought to life by the mix and match cast. We are fortunate to be seeing the early careers of such stars as Lexi Balestrieri and Chelsea Wolf whose young talent will be in top feature films in the near future. The humor is in very honestly expressed and it is an honesty which reflects the truth of our weird dating desires. Great dialogue and fun situations. I feel that Bouncy Boxer Media has made a great start in this industry and we can all look forward to see more great "Shorts" like this one. You will enjoy it!
