I was lucky enough to see Neil Stryker and The Tyrant Of Timeat the Sci Fi London Film Festival which was held at the Stratford Picture House in London. and it was one of my favorite gems that the festival had to offer. It is a totally bonkers, but fun movie that is both insane and brilliant all at the same time. It also has one of the best cameos of a well known actor that I have seen.
It is a film that has clearly a dedication of love as the film took many years to make but the end result makes the wait so well worth it. I just hope it does not take 10 years before we next see Neil Stryker.
Go and see this movie you will love it.

This film took ten years to make. The love and labor shows tremendously. It's so damn clever, and snarky. If I had one complaint, it would be that I don't own the Bluray as of yet. The pace of the film is fantastic. The effects are, for the most part, all practical! Goblin puppets?! The digital effects are also so wonderful (such as a way cool body force field at one point). And the cast, led by Rob Taylor and Nic Costa (both playing multiple roles), is so damn funny. They really show us a fun and original time. The Mad Scientist has the funniest voice I have ever heard. I have read reviews from around the globe that the cast and crew obviously didn't take themselves too seriously (and sure, they have a great sense of humor), but when I look at the sets that these folks built alone, with hardly a "budget", I cannot justify that summation. NSTOT should give Indie Filmmakers hope to realize their own filmmaking dreams. Give this movie a try, because it's bound to be a classic. It goes for the throat, and sucks you in. Also, cool vagina!
Saw this on a big screen at Midwest Weirdfest. It is fun for what it is, a movie that took several years to make with no money. And the actress playing the Nurse said "There's Nudity!" ~ & Over-The-Top-Acting, which is my big gripe for the film. Regarding the acting, I thought the villain was too far over the top & our hero not far behind.
They did one cool acting trick with Koenig & his "younger self" that caught me off guard, so I loved it. David Oden Stiers knew someone on set & lobbied to be in it...
Another movie for the curious.

It's hard to describe just how bad this thing is. My greatest complaint is summed up in the title of my post. The stilted and clumsy script is comparable to the almost indescribably bad "Plan 9 From Outer Space". And that is AFTER taking into account that it is intended to be outlandishly over-the-top in terms of its cheesy dialogue.
In short, even on its own terms of campy, buffoonish comedy, it FAILS, completely and utterly!

How this can score any stars is amazing. Everything about this film is rubbish! The acting is rubbish. The script is rubbish. The effects are rubbish.
