I think the basic virtue of this shortfilm is its high delicacy. A film about love of Christ and about a relation more profound than, in somany casese, we accept. It is not a theology lesson, it is not exactly a film about The Savior. It is only and just a touching story about a form of friendship and trust, about connections and innocence, about childhood and family and about something to feel not explain. Short, just a beautiful, wise short film.

There is a very bigoted review of this film, ignore it. If you don't want to watch a religious film you might avoid films that involve Christ, that should be a given.
The film tells a great story of the love of Christ. Yes that upsets some people. If you can put your pretension aside, ignore the bigotry of the lone review that gave it one star, you will most likely be pleasantly surprised.

I am a Christian writer, pastor, and Bible teacher for the past 44 years. I have seldom seem such a beautifully moving film as this. Spectacularly done and incredibly accurate in portraying the true love and nature of Jesus.
The actors and acting is superb. The writing wonderful and compelling. Thank you for this beautiful short film. Please produce others, or a full length movie. I am a fan forever.

My 5 year old LOVES this short film. It's beautifully done. While the disobedience of the little girl, Rebecca, could have a better "lesson" attached to it to better encourage children to obey the 5th commandment and the only one with a promise, it's an open door to discuss with our children: rebellion, our sinful nature, and how the Enemy uses our natural curiosity, and even our desire to seek Jesus, against us.
Overall, this short film makes me cry every time, and it captivates my child.

He Knows My Name is one in a series of well written, faithfully presented anecdotal Christian stories about unwritten encounters people must of had with Jesus Christ but are not recorded in the Gospels. What they all share in common is His encounters with children. If you have ever wondered what the rest of Jesus' life must have been like you owe it to yourself to watch this movie. John 20:30.
