It's the first time I write a review, and believe you me I did not see any series more Perfect than this show at all. Sure there is ups and downs for every TV-show, but this one is just so "PERFECT". The acting is "PERFECT", the production is "PERFECT", through the whole show you feel like you're living the story, the music is on point, and this show as a whole is a "MASTERPIECE". I'm really hoping for a 3rd season.
I ended up watching episode 1 only because it came on after Vikings. I enjoy watching TV shows/movies that are based on true life. (I do go into these knowing that some leeway has to be given to the facts so that it can make for good TV viewing.). So I was pretty interested in checking out "Falco's" undercover story to see real-life danger and a world that is completely different than my own.
As I watched this episode it kept cutting away to have the real Falco give some narration. It seemed quite disruptive and irritating especially when it happened during a tense action scene. I just wanted to be able to watch the characters interact - to get to the meat. I remember thinking that The History Channel really messed up what could have been an otherwise great TV show.
I ended up giving it a second chance and I am glad I did. The show continued to have Falco give a personal accounting, but they were able to make it flow more smoothly into the story. And actually, I appreciated having more insight into what he was thinking and feeling. The show really picked up.
I just watched episode 6......What?! That's it? Even though Falco spent 3 years of his life infiltrating this often vicious gang it gets condensed down to 6 shows? What a disappointment. I would think that given the huge success of Sons of Anarchy that there would be tons of people wanting to see into the real existence of a Biker Club/gang. It's confusing that they only put out 6 episodes. But 6 episodes is all we get. When I think of the overall cohesiveness, it seems like key information is lacking which could've been resolved with a longer first season. Regardless, I do really like the show.
It was pretty incredible to see the dire situations that Falco got into and see how well he thought on his feet and how he managed to get out of the hot-seat. It liked seeing a more realistic view on the biker lifestyle. Another positive is that it didn't portray a romanticized version of being an outlaw like SOA often did, but made sure to point out the criminal activities.
I would be happy to find out that The History Channel is going to have another season and show Falco's next undercover assignment. I believe he infiltrated biker clubs/gangs a total of 2 or 3 times.

There is a chance that these series could give something different in the field of TV screened undercover stories. You have a person with real problems, a drug dealer who hits rock bottom and you have a fear, a lot of fear that this bottom has a hole. Potential 20 years in jail is wasted life time in hell, pure punishment with no other meaning, no future. And there is another way - through the bottom of the very dangerous people and his own. This pit is dip, dipper than his worst nightmare dreams, but there is no easier way out. He chooses to face the demons right away, in order to make amends for his mistakes from the past. In the end, there is one question left to be answered: if he ever comes back, who will he be... in the end. I am eager to find out!
For the most part, season one is really good. Gritty, realistic, and fun.
Season 2 is a different story, it's still good but definitely lost some of the edge that season 1 had...still, all in all a very good series.
This comment are for those who want are skeptical or if this show is worth it.
This mini-series is something new and tired wasted or boring. Kept my attention almost every minute. If you're tired of reality shows, recycled story lines from boring movies, then this is the show for you. I felt like I was watching a well directed, acted, and creative story. I usually only watch a couple of hours of TV because it is soooo predictable. However, I just caught this show because I thought the title was interesting. I could stop watching I sat there for at least five hours unheard for me.

- GoofsThe club is regularly referred to as a gang. Motorcycle clubs consider that very offensive. A 1%er club would never refer to themselves as a gang.
