Deeply annoying that you can't re-load at certain points.
I was supposed to kidnap someone, the mission was going really well, dropped the body whilst I assissinated someone but instead it was the "Kidnapee" I killed. Amusing, but annoying af that you can't go back.
This is one of the best AC games in my opinion. To be fair, I have not played through all of them, but this one has far superior combat to any predecessor (except perhaps Black Flag). The story remains fairly interesting as opposed to many AC games that really suffered from poor story. The massive London map is beautiful, detailed, and a joy to explore. If you are looking for the greatest Assassin's Creed gameplay, I would recommend either this one or Black Flag.
This game is absolutely class.
I was very sceptical at first considering the monumental f**k up that Unity was but this isn't like that at all. The main characters make a really good combo and they add a nice bit of British humour to it which is reminiscent of Ezio Audtiore/Edward Kenway. The graphics are on-point and the combat is really smooth and fluent (and quite brutal as well).
I'm about 2/5's through the game after completing lots of side missions before actually progressing through much of the story at the moment (let's face it, who just dives through the story without getting every viewpoint and upgrading your character to almost max) and looking forward to more of it. The only reason i didn't give it 10 is because the formula is the same as every other AC but if their aim is to push one out every year then i highly doubt that's going to change anytime soon.
UPDATE: I've now finished the main story campaign and i was absolutely blown away at how good the story was. It also ties in with the main endgame that kept you playing through Ezio's timeline so i'm now looking forward to the next one. Really hoping it doesn't disappoint!

Compared to other great Assassins creed games like AC 2/black flag and brotherhood this game is very average and deserves no more than a 6/10 but compared to all games in general it offers a lot in the way of fun. I spent around 80 hours playing the game but was to 100% it and if you're just interested in the story you will probably breeze through the game in no more than 15 hours. As with all Creed games we get the usual scattering of collectibles and busy work tasks to fill time, but that will only appeal to the completionists as it's not required. Gameplay is very solid and has very few bugs however if you've played most other Assassins Creed games you'll realise how much Syndicate holds your hand throughout and never allows you to fall from great heights or jump off buildings etc, instead it's guides you through in one of the most linear of open worlds I've played. That's not a bad thing but it's restrictive at times. The story does a decent job of keeping you entertained as you take over London burrough by burrough and help raise your gang to rule all of London and stop the templars from seizing power. imagine Gangs of New York but with assassin twins. The characters are a sticking point for many but I found Jacob and Evie Frye (Both playable) to offer something abit different than the usual one character that we normally get. However their personalities leave something to be desired. The customisation is limited buy does offer a few different outfit choices and new weapons like Kukris, Cane swords and brass knuckles. You can also change things like the colour etc. Skill points encourage you to push forward and gain new abilities and each twin has a few skills that are only applicable to them, for instance Evie has the ability to go invisible and is the more stealth based character while Jacob offers more damage in fights and is classed as the brawler. The graphics still hold up very well in 2021 and the map is a good size to keep you occupied. Overall a solid game that will keep you entertained for many hours but if you're a hardcore Assassins creed fan then you'll see there is some limitations in Syndicate compared to other games in the series, worth a shot and right now 25/2/21 AC Syndicate and all creed games are on sale on Xbox and steam.
What a trailer this game had truly amazing, I was totally hyped to play this as soon as it hit the shelves.
But all the excitement was welcomed by an above average game.
This is the most modern version of the AC game, I was truly exited to play this and honestly it does have some charms, the gritty and dirty London filled with Street thugs and cops was charming in it's own way. I also loved the addition of Marx and Dickens into the roaster of AC's Legendary figures from history.
But sometimes the repetitive tailing ,mission and lack of creativity for Assassination, loped out villain dialogues during fights and profoundly below par main Villain brings down the game quality quiet down.
Anyways being a diehard AC fanboy I will still give it a 7/10, Cheers..
