Kama Sutra

Since the term "Kama Sutra" is so well-known in regards to sex (a la "Masters & Johnson" or "Kinsey Report") it gives rise to an endless number of projects as a hook. They are almost invariably dull and difficult to sit through without nodding off, and this daring! Media stab at the topic falls victim to that same curse, albeit in the Soft-core genre.

It's under the "daring! pure" label, almost an oxymoron but more perniciously having overwhelmed the quality original daring! releases in recent years. Apparently the owners of this mysterious porn company (its nationality intentionally disguised over time as presumptively Spanish or Dutch but really British) decided to lighten up their content to appeal more to the Couples market, a bad move artistically as the resulting blandness is n.s.g.

Dawn is the nominal director though she/(he?) only takes a producer's credit officially. It's a tedious demo of positions exercise, repetitive, remote and unerotic. Cast is okay with only my personal favorite Iwia standing out (literally) for me.

Result resembles a much worse but XXX effort a couple years earlier from Marc Dorcel. This one has even briefer scenes, lasting about 1-1/2 to 2 minutes each, of a couple humping away in the designated position. Big surprise is that the angles and lighting keep the content 100% soft core, definitely a letdown to daring! fans, as all the other product, whether delivered straight or "pure", is hardcore. Dreamy dissolves within a scene merely increase the drowsiness effect.
