I respect Christian von koenigsegg he's like a einstein in hypercar world right now
Can't believe a small swedish company is demolishing a company like Bugatti
Given this documentary is about the attainment of speed it somewhat ironic that the pacing of the direction was so slow. I made two attempts to watch this all the way through, but failed on both occasions. The interview soundbites showed a bunch of pretentious gits waxing lyrical, comparing the cars to "the iron man suit" and "God on earth". Some nice views of cars, so it doesn't rate a zero / one.
I enjoy a good documentary about passions and technology, and I've enjoyed quite a few similar car documentaries, but this one was just unwatchable. Just drags on and on and on with no point, no plot, no punchline. It's like the entire documentary is an "intro" to another documentary, I sat there waiting and waiting and waiting for it to start, and by the half-hour point just gave up. Devoid of any fascinating technical details, exploration of the car, survey of the design process, view of the production process, etc. This entire documentary could have been a three minute special, with two or three shots of the car and an interview with the team leader. Instead, you got about three hundred shots of the car from every angle over the course of an hour, and still, no meaningful interviews...all style with no substance. Watching this documentary is the equivalent of staring at a few pretty magazine pictures, with small, poorly informative captions underneath. Don't waste your time.
Little surprised to see 1 user comment. This deserves a wider audience and more TLC. Stumbled into this little gem on Netflix. I am not an ardent car nerd but I was hooked on this intimate insight into the world of hyper cars.
The close ups on the cars are almost erotic in its intensity and the pacing is very well managed. Ideally you wan to get together with some fans of F1 and cars to really enjoy this. They pay special attention to Koenigsegg and give the viewer a bonus look into the racetracks of legend in Europe (esp Nurburgring)
Totally worth the investment in time.

My Personal Rating - 6.8/10
Obviously this documentary is made for Car People and it's purely focused about cars and their history. The ones that are interested behind the cars especially Koenigsegg that has interesting story behind them and it's founder and yes they are my most favorite Car Manafacturer in Automotive World. It also includes interviews with Chris Harris , Horacio Pagani which i found interesting too. It's just worth to watch it if you are interested in those person i mentioned.
