The story will exceed the expectations of every person ever in love. The emotions of joy to sadness, love to hatred, friendship to a broken heart are clearly depicted within each scene. The director visually captured the emotions felt by several different characters in each scene, giving the ability to honestly sense the storyline. The ability to feel the emotions of the characters is captured through various sights, sounds, and places, just as they would play out in real life. It is very well written, and the directing captures every angle imaginable. I admire the extra steps taken to promote the locality of it's filming area. The larger than life steps taken by all involved, to ensure this film is a success, are commendable. The actors and actresses clearly understand the characters they are playing and their emotions are portrayed as if they've lived it before. I am impressed with how well the film was supported and received by the locals where most of the film was shot. I cannot recommend this movie enough!
This was by far the best independent film I have seen in years. The acting was great.
It brought be back to a time when I grew up just hanging out with friends.
The relationships between the main characters reminded me of when I was in high school chasing girls and not succeeding.
This is a great date movie.
Something to cuddle up on your couch with your significant other with a bowl of popcorn and watch.
Overall I would say that this movie is full of laughs and is a good time. It will leave you feeling happy and with a smile on your face.

You have to give this film and the cast/production a lot of credit for what was created here in this movie. I am naturally not a fan of romantic comedies, but this film was actually funny and wholesome. Hollywood spits out films under the genre of 'romantic comedy' and more often than not, the comedy includes old, overused euphemisms for sex that are not very comedic at all - just immature and lame. Just sex, sex, sex, and maybe a little teen-angst. I was pleased with this film because not only does it delve into romance, it portrays the importance of friendship. That is the most important aspect of this film that Hollywood misses out on when making films. Instead of an already famous/rich cast looking to make more bank, you have people from the surrounding area working together creating culture, being a part of a project that did not promise a grade or money or climb. What you have here is group of people living in the small towns and surrounding little cities of Western New York making something special, meeting new people, and opening doors. I was impressed with the outcome considering all of the circumstances surrounding this film, and recommend it for anyone looking to sit around with the family and watch something made by people like them.
Friends Don't Let Friends Date Friends (2014) brings me back to a place in my mind that I haven't been since I was the age of the characters in this movie. How fun and simple life must have been compared to what it can be now. And how as adults we can either forget that stage or long for that stage. When was the last time you tied sneakers together and tossed them up to a tree? With all the hustle of everyday life, this is a movie to settle down and simply take in. Perhaps even recall what it was like to be single and watching your friends date. This movie about friendships and relationships was enjoyable and easy to watch. A great cast, pretty scenery and backdrops with really good songs.
The movie is an entertaining innocent look at life through a young woman's eyes. She has a state of mind lead by her dreams. It is a pleasant cleaver plot. She patiently calculates, and waits to get what she really wants. You get to share her emotions as she goes through issues with her friends, and family. Yet you don't have to worry about sharing the movie with younger children.
It's like parking next to a field to count how many wild flowers are growing there. A look at things everyone else might just passes by, and misses out on. It is set in a small town. So if you want to relax, and laugh it is a good choice.
