An important message about bullying among schoolchildren. One of the students, a boy, is suffering from a disease that the classmates doesn't understand. He has a sleeping sickness and he always fall asleep when he gets emotional. A girl in class make friends with him and then she also becomes bullied. She turns her back to him and he of course is twice as sad. The whole area of bullying and not to fit in is so crucial to talk about and consider. When young people doesn't understand whats going on the often take a stand and criticize the situation because they don't want to look stupid. I was bullied in high school because I wasn't thin enough, at that time I didn't talk to anyone about it. Today I've come to understand why I have such focus on always being on a diet. My daughter also got bullied in her sixth grade, 12 years old, she was strong and told her teacher. The teacher spoke with the boy and asked him to tell his parents that same night what he had done and ask for a written paper from them. She wanted them to be part of the development of the boy. She also told him that if you don't talk to them I will call them tomorrow. He also had to apologize. The bullying never more took place. He was not consider as a front role in the class anymore, telling the others what to do and behave. The short film is made as an examination in a film school and focus on relations, toughness, love and caring. It is beautiful and it is always a challenge to have young people in most of the roles.
