Kooky characters, snappy dialogue and over the top craziness will have you laughing out loud over and over. Imagine the cast of a sitcom suddenly trapped in a horror film and you get the idea. Pop culture riffs and horror movie tropes are splattered all over the place. In fact, there are tons more laughs than blood which, as a comedy first and foremost, works just fine. And even the massacre, when it finally comes, is not exactly what you'd expect.
A really fun film I could watch over and over.

I've waited at least three years to finally see this movie. I'd say it was well worth the wait. This movie was fun and entertaining. This is why more people should support independent horror, because Hollywood can't do it like this. Lots of pop culture references, interesting characters, red velvet cake, and a psychotic killer on the loose. This movie definitely has some really cool surprises and twists that I never would have expected and I dare not spoil them for you. See for yourself and enjoy the epicness. I love the randomness of it all; one minute, it's friends talking, then the next, a killer shows up to crash the garden party. This movie doesn't take itself too seriously. Some of the characters are silly and dim-witted, and that's what makes it funny. It becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse. The movie was a little short. Maybe if this does well and becomes a new cult classic, they'll make a sequel. If you love slashers, garden parties, red velvet cake, and twists, I highly recommend GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE!!
This is the kind of zany, outrageous and funny filmmaking that just makes me smile. This movie blurs genre lines and mixes humor and horror tropes successfully. This is simply big fun served up in a bite size budget! While super indie movies aren't for everyone, my advice is to throw caution to the wind when watching this one. If you have no preconceived expectations, you will be surprised and thoroughly entertained by this humor and blood soaked romp! This is a well executed production based on an exceedingly original and offbeat screenplay by Gregory Blair. The cast performs the hell out of this one in a bombastic go for broke style!
This is the movie that a lot of comedy/horror films try to be. From frame one you can tell that the entire cast and crew put nothing but love into this unlike the mechanically churned out horror spoof movies of the last 2 decades. And the great thing is, just as soon as you think you have this movie all figured out, it will spin you on a fine and take you to a whole new level. Gregory Blair and company took a small, independent movie and made it a raucous good time. Well worth checking out
