Human Zoo

Human Zoo is a strange and awkward animated dark comedy short by Yoji Kuri. It carries Kuri's signature style, yet somehow feels distant from his other works I've seen. It's almost like a peculiar art installation-especially with its odd human barking and other unusual sounds-but the drawing style is overly simplistic and cartoonish. The animation relies heavily on limited animation techniques, dominated by reused frames, repeated motions, and the absence of backgrounds. Not really my cup of tea this time!
