Well this will be my first review, ever. And so I thought I would put a good word in for this mini-series. A lot of times I'm reading reviews from people that are just bashing the hell out of a good series, for little or no 'good' reason. If you see a series that is fan made, don't expect a Star Wars type production. Take it for what it is supposed to be. Entertainment. I don't judge on the 'quality' of the sets or costumes, as they are based on a comic book world, so they can make them look any way they want. I saw reference to someone 'liking it better than Supergirl'. Well that in itself is a huge compliment to the cast, crew, writers, directors and everyone involved. Supergirl is a Berlanti Productions film, released by Warner Bros. Television. So they would have had a much higher budget, which relates to better sets, locations, cameras, CGI and actors/actresses. Just to name a few things. I personally liked Supergirl better, but for the right reasons. And I wouldn't dare to compare the two.
I think the acting was fine. The fight scenes, with the exception of one, were really good. And for the budget they had, the CGI is really awesome. I would definitely like to see more of this. Kudos to all that worked towards or financed this little gem!
And BTW, I have been a comic book reader and movie goer for 51 years. I bought my first comic when I was 9, in 1964.
My name's Bob, and I support this review. whew....

Well, I just watched the mini-series, and I was impressed, the performances and the authors are very good, and they would be great actors in Hollywood, in terms of special effects, it's the web-series with the best special effects, they're great, and only in a few moments do you think it's a product of the "trash" style, I also have to point out the costumes of the characters, such as Nightwing and Deathstroke, are excellent and very realistic, similar to the comics, the dialogues too, especially those between Batman and Nightwing.
The only thing that I found a little bad was the ending, despite being good, it gives a feeling of hook and curiosity of a sequel.

Good attempt. Horrible acting and fight scenes are too drawn out. The actors look a bit soft. They all look like they should be going out to the club. I was also not impressed with Robin's original outfit. It looked a bit plastic, bubble gum and made from the arts and crafts store. Could have been made a little more dark. I respect the fact that this series is made with little funding. I think what made it bad for me again was the over bad acting. The dramatic scenes are strange and unbelievable. I do understand this was a fun project for them and was a great idea. Not bad attempt though for a fan made thing. I did like it way more than the new super girl and a lot More than other fan films out there.
I am pretty shocked. I thought this would be the world's worst fan made series ever, but I was surprised. It actually is pretty incredible. Super low budget, but acting is pretty good for a fan series and also the action, and also the script and soundtrack were surprisingly talented. Not only that but, the effects were very sophisticated for a fan series, and what not. If you are bored out of your mind, and are a DC fan you might want to check this out. Us fans might learn a thing or to on how to create a proper fan made series from this one.
I can't say enough positive things about this series, from the action, acting, music, and considering how low budget it is, its amazing to think about how excellent this series is. Tell every DC Universe fan you know to watch this series, it deserve and need more attention, the episodes are from 5-10 minutes long, and its only 5 episodes, with the final coming out next week, with so short time it have really gotten into me. The main villain in the series is Deathstroke, some people says he is nothing compared to Manu Bennett's version of Deathstroke in Arrow, but who is? This is a Deathstroke focus series not Slade Wilson.
Overall Nightwing is a must watch for all of you reading this, and i really hope they plan to make more seasons of it!
