Lousy but fun

What a good surprise this thirty thousandth DELIVERANCE and TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE more or less rip-off, set in the UK countryside. It is lame, lousy at the most but strangely riveting, exciting, fun, with a villain who looks like Freddy Krueger !!!! The tributes to horror films seems endless here, and that's a pretty good thing; but don't abuse of such material. From time to time, yes, but not every day. The example of how stupid it is, besides the plot, is the outfit with a hood that the main villain wore for a few minutes, in the middle of a desert British landscape. We have seen millions of such films since the mid seventies, and it still works.
