You Really Think I Wouldn't Find You????

Funny having woken up in rooms similar to the one in the opening, I felt a strange sense of familiarity with it.

+1 Star for the somewhat bizarre opening........

Haha, lying ahole would have been discarded if he hadn't shown up at home after his all nighter with an envelope full of cash......

And then the woodland bachelor party begins......

And bad things begin to happen.....

And then....

-1 Star for the Reveal....wow that was dumb.....

-2 Stars for the Ending...Wow that was really dumb!!!!!

Front cover seems misleading

I was expecting guys in masks doing some scary killer stuff but what I got was some guy off his nut tripping out the entire film.

Great Friday night movie!

"The Unraveling" is a genuine and tense horror/thriller without being overly graphic and violent. The film really had a unique premise and backstory. I loved the setup for the main character and I could not stop watching because it really did take me by surprise and went places that I have not seen in a movie before.

More of a drama, and well worth watching

To my surprise this film pulled off drama better than most indie horror films I've seen. This film had a human element to it, where I felt like I was living the experience with Michael. It is a story of the human experience of life, love, and addiction. They do a profound job telling this story, taking their time with cinematic shots, dramatic and emotional music, and effective dialogue. A few parts fell flat but overall grab the popcorn, but don't expect just an edge of your seat thriller it was also heartfelt and well delivered.

"We Have To Do Something"

......unless you have experienced this horror or love someone who has you might not think this film is any good. Although predicable, and a somewhat weak ending, this film does an ok job of showing what a monster addiction can be. If you really want an artistic and cringe worthy film that also deals with this theme watch Requiem For A Dream. Those characters needed an exorcism not intervention.

While preparing for the role of Shane, actor Bob Turton reportedly spent 7 weeks alone in a Barstow, California Best Western hotel. When asked why at a recent press junket he responded, "For me, the only way to find a character is to let the character slowly creep into my dreams. That can only happen with complete silence, darkness, and solitude. I've had success achieving that in the Barstow, CA Best Western. Something about the combination of fantastic customer service and the Earth's spiritual vortex in that area always creates a pathway to inspiration for me."

Goofs
When the kidnappers first drive away with Michael in the trunk the vehicle has plates on the front and back. During the highway scene to the woods, there are not plates on the vehicle. Finally, when the vehicle stops in the woods, it once again has license plates.
