The show opens with Shane McMahon cutting a promo. We see the WWF commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. We see Vince McMahon and his stooges in Victoria, looking for Steve Austin ( this skit was continued throughout the show). The first match is Billy Gunn versus Val Venis. Kevin Kelly interviews Debra. Teri Runnels orders D-Lo Brown to take on the Big Bossman, which leads to D-Lo Brown versus Big Bossman. The Ministry of Darkness assaults the Brood. Mankind cuts a promo. Road Dogg and Al Snow take on the Acolytes in a hardcore match. The main event is Triple H versus Kane in a steel cage match.
