- No, we have Codename Kids Next Door at home
- Codename Kids Next Door at home:
...no, seriously, that's genuinely how I feel about this show, no joke. This has to be one of the lousiest and shameless knockoffs of a show I've ever seen in my life. I'm not even kidding about that, by the way! Oh, and not to mention back around a decade or so ago (in the early 2010's) this was shown on Pop, a Freeview channel, whereas Codename Kids Next Door (the show that this is ripping off) was on Cartoon Network, a rather premium channel. That, just about, says it all. I have terrible memories about this and now is the time for those memories to be released.
This is the worst show ever from 2009 along with Destroy Build Destroy and Dude What Would Happen but it says it was in 2008 which is the year that Codename Kids Next Door got cancelled since January 21st, and invisible network of kids got cancelled in 2010, it is much worse than The PowerPuff Girls (2016), this condlcudes my review of invisible network of kids the worst show next to King Star King.
I watched this series religiously when I was younger. They'd air it on the TV channel Pop alot and I found it very fun. I decided to look back on it and give it a re-watch like I do with a lot of the shows I used to like, and to my surprise, the show holds up very well and is really good.
The main 4 characters are very enjoyable if not flawed. They all have their gripes and mishaps with each other but at the end of the day, they're still a team of really great friends that love each other, though some may like each other in more ways beyond friendship (looking at you Vin and Zero).
While the main villain Miss Macbeth is an objectively terrible person and teacher, I don't dislike her because her VA does a fantastic job making her sound completely unhinged and looney, to the point where its hilarious whenever she's on screen.
I like how there's a bit of continuity in this show despite being episodic in nature. There's hints of not only Macbeth's past, but also backstory clues of the main 4, particularly their family issues. However, alot of these hints will remained unresolved since this show sadly only got 1 season, no idea why it never got recommissioned for more episodes.
The animation is really good for a 2000s rigged/puppet style, though this series was animated in France, which has alot of amazing animated media. I love the lineless style and the designs of the main/side characters.
Some of the episodes can be a bit eh, this show does get away with a lot of weird things and the music segments can be hit or miss (but when a song is good, oh boy is it an earworm), but overall INK is a very fun show that deserved atleast 2 more seasons, and more appreciation outside those who simply watched it as a kid.
It gets a high 7 from me, its very close to an 8 though.

Animation from Europe has some pretty interesting forms of animation, including shows and I mean A LOT of shows. Code Lyoko, Eliot Kid, Skunk Fu!, The Amazing World of Gumball, Hero: 108, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Danger Mouse, (1981 and 2015) Jamie's Got Tentacles, Count Duckula, Wakfu, Robotboy, Totally Spies!, The Cramp Twins, Cédic, Space Goofs, Pirate Family, Dofus: The Tressures of Kerub, Monster Buster Club, A Kind of Magic, My Knight and Me, Martin Mystery, Zig and Sharko, Victor & Hugo: Bunglers In Crime, Oggy and The Cockroaches, The Amazing Spies!, Angelo Rules, Floopaloo, Where Are You?, Sally Bollwood, Bunny Maloney, Gawayn, Matt's Monsters, The DaVincibles, and now this, I.N.K Invisible Network of Kids. (a.k.a Code Lyoko 2.0) This show features a group of four kids who hang around at a boarding school called Pinkerton School where a crazy, sinister teacher named Ms. Macbeth who wants to enslave all the children across the school, but The Invisible Network of Kids (Vin, Zero, Trixie, and Newton) always come up with fantastic spies gadgets to solve problems fight off against Ms. Macbeth. The writing in this show is pretty good, the animation is nice, the voice acting is good and the fight scenes are pretty cool. Oh, and did I mention that this show has some catchy songs? Yes I did. All I'm saying is that I.N.K Invisible Network of Kids is just as good as Code Lyoko and a few other cartoons, especially the cartoons that were made in Europe. And yes, I ship Vin x Zero. I give this show an 8.5/10
