Jonas
Damir is a guy in his 30Â’s with a foreign background but growing up in a small town in Sweden. He dreams of a better life, of being successful, of feeling like a real Swede and of being respected - the good life.
He moves to the big city of Stockholm hoping for all that. He changes his name to Jonas, a typical Swedish name, gets himself a small apartment in the suburbs and takes on a job as a dishwasher in a posh restaurant in Ostermalm, a fashionable part of the city.
But Jonas still is not happy. His life quickly turns into a daily routine where each day only consists of work and sleep.
As time goes on, however, he is able to show his skills and gets promoted - he becomes a waiter at the restaurant. And as a waiter he enters the world of successes among the guests. He is now in their world, yet so far away from it.
One day a young girl enters the restaurant. Her name is Julia. Her father is a successful man and Jonas falls in love.
