Classificação de Void-Horizon
TLDR: It's very entertaining, and full of great acting and directing. It's well-written, with many plot twists. Even the music was enjoyable.
I think, this is a very entertaining movie, and would recommend it. Especially, I'd recommend it to Catholics, for whom I believe it was mostly created. Although, I would urge that even non-Catholics ought watch it. It's worth seeing, even if one disagrees with it.
It's important to remember that this isn't a documentary. It's entirely fiction. In fact, these fictional events aren't in any way tied to any current reality. Thus, we can safely watch it simply for the sake of considering the mere notions it conveys to us. We don't need to feel triggered by it, since it's merely asking us to consider what it's saying.
I don't wish to spoil it for you, and so I'll try my best to avoid giving too much away. However, I must say that I wasn't really expecting this to be such a propaganda piece. I was expecting something more akin to The Da Vinci Code, but I felt it was still very entertaining. It was a little bit difficult to follow, and so I had to backup and review all of the characters' names, and the who's who stuff. You really have to pay close attention to to it, or might get lost.
I disagree with certain nay-sayers who publicly forbid anyone to view it, claiming it to be anti-Catholic. I don't think it's even anti-Christian, in any way. What I think it is sort of against is, hegemonic masculinity. Although, I think it strays a bit further, and also promotes certain changes, which I'll neglect to mention in the interest of avoiding spoilers.
Anyway, none of this has to do with Catholicism or Christianity, itself. To the contrary, I think it's examining some Catholic traditions, and simply asking us to question the clinging to those old traditions.
Now, as a non-Catholic/Christian it's hardly my place to choose sides in all of this. However, I think it's always good conscience to examine our traditions with careful consideration, rather than blindly clinging to history. So, I'd recommend that people ought at least watch the film, and hear it's opinions out.
At the very least, it's certainly entertainment.

At long last, I was able to watch the movie online at the official website. It was a long wait for the film to release to the public, and I'm glad it has. This is probably one of the most important films ever created in the history of the art. While I agree with most everything it preaches, I felt it was a rather weak presentation.
I have been researching this subject for over 23 years, and I still learn something new all of the time. This film even brought things to my attention I had never previously been aware of, and had to look into further. I would encourage everybody who sees it to not accept this film as authoritative, or even a very good exposition on the subject. There are better sources to be found.
I've seen more compelling videos on YouTube than this sensationalist propaganda. The whole film is simply too weak, and too watered down. It's also full of self-back patting, and flag waving. It was very moving, and certainly had its moments, and so I'm awarding it a decent rating. However, I feel like this shouldn't be the end of this story, and that more ought follow. It should've been a miniseries, or an entire series. Perhaps, somebody can adapt it into such. It certainly doesn't deserve to be the end of the matter in your own mind. You simply must look into this further, because the rabbit hole goes really deep. I assure you.

Wholesome series with some positive role-models for gay youths! I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed all three seasons. I mean, it's a little bit unrealistic and obvious fantasy, but somewhat plausible and a bit nostalgic. If only real-life gay boys could be half as nice!
It's such an adorable presentation of gay coming of age romance. Even though it's a little preachy, it doesn't feel that way. It manages to provide a really positive example of how to be a good boyfriend. Yet, it doesn't feel like it's preaching, and is totally sweet and adorable to watch. Most lovey-dovey stuff makes me want to puke. However, this one manages to make me feel that longing feeling, like I really NEED some of that in my own life.
The only thing I don't like is how Charlie treats his ex throughout Seasons 1 & 2. I mean, I get that it's trying to preach about how NOT to be. However, I feel the punishment is a little harsh, and Charlie's actions, while understandable, are regrettable. I feel like he should have a real heart-to-heart with his ex, and at least accept his apology. He's only human, and should be allowed to make mistakes. If he honestly has learned his lesson, he ought be forgiven. I'm not saying that Charlie should date him, again. Maybe it would be too risky to even be friends, if he might interfere in his relationship with Nick. However, Charlie was way too harsh on him, and that's not even fair. The guy is obviously struggling with self-acceptance and coming out, and that amount of harshness could cause him to hurt himself. Charlie should've been more sensitive, but was extremely selfish and immature. I was hoping they'd work things out by the end of Season 2, but I guess not.
Season 3 seems to focus more on mental illness than coming out. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting that. However, it's every bit as much an important topic for the LGBTQIA+ community as coming out or bullying is. So, I think it's great that they'd focus on this less covered topic. Although, I was hoping Charlie would forgive his ex, and be able to treat him nicer, but no luck. Season 4, perhaps?
Speaking of a Season 4, what's next? Sexual health crisis? Also, I'm a little bit concerned for Nick's mental health. He's supposed to be bisexual, but hasn't really confronted his feelings regarding that. Also, he seems a little too perfect. He needs some sort of quirk to make him less one-dimensional. Or, maybe he could stray? That would make the series seem less idealistic, and more real. Or, maybe Charlie will stray with his ex while Nick is away at university? The idealic dream can't last forever. It'll be interesting to see how they resolve and work things out.
