Ok let's be honest - Season 2 has had some dull moments. It was never hard to get through or tough to watch, but slow enough at times to make us hope that it was all leading up to something great.
Well this was more than just great. It was EPIC. And funny. And just awesome in so many ways. What I loved so much about this episode, is that it captures the most random moments (fight scene, Milchick, accidentally shooting someone, etc.) and makes the best of them without diverting from the plot whatsoever. That's really what Severance does so well and even when it is awkward, it keeps the show flowing beautifully.
Finish the season and watch the last episode. Your heart will be ripped apart.

Not everyone will agree, but Smile 2 is better than it's predecessor. It confidently embraces it's insanely eerie and freshly frightening aura. Old school, anticipatory scares are done carefully and are very effective. But what was most impressive were the moments when you were felt forced to look at the parts that you knew would stick with you. Sure, it's easy to hide under your blanket when you knew an AHHH moment is coming. But when you can't help but stare between your fingers at a terrifying part that just LINGERS... Those parts reminded me so much of The Ring which, 20 years ago, stopped me from watching TV for a while. Smile 2 has me afraid to turn on the lights in a dark room and see a bunch of dancers 'smiling' back at me and chasing me out. For now, I think I'll just feel my way around in the dark.
