This movie shows that there is a generation gap. Not in years but in understanding this new electronic age and computers. Not everyone is capable with computers, mainly seniors. You cannot exclude us because of our age (me 70 years old), we are are not so easily impressed with Facebook, etc. Sometimes just making a phone call is much appreciated this movie shows this.
Shelley Winter's portrays a madam named Polly Adler. She portrays the part of a lonely madam in during the roaring twenties of vice and corruption. She wanted love after being raped, this always eludes her into an unhappy ending. Such is life you want bells and whistles don't watch this movie?!
I really enjoyed the movie. It reminded of the television series "Mission Impossible". I enjoyed the ending. Three people and 3 different opinions on how to handle a crisis and ha, ha a mid-life crisis as well. The love interests between these 3 people is very interesting. The fighting of Helen Merrin's young character is astounding reminds of the Avengers. Don't look at the New York Times review they think it's so-so. The writing is good and so are the 6 primary actors. It's all filmed on location. Lots of hints as toward the ending portion. I spoke to some of the other viewers, people my age are wimps and wanted to walk out. It's truly about three people going through a MID LIFE CRISIS.
