Written by the great David Renwick, One foot in the grave is truly hilarious with fantastic situation comedy. The sort of things that we all can relate to ,when similar things happen to us like car repair men and sales men and the dreaded Jehovah's witnesses.Richard Wilson brilliantly plays Victor Meldrew a man on a mission to try and stay sane in a crazy world. He shouts and rants with purpose while his lovely wife Margeret uses her tolerance to try and cope with her husband. She is wonderfully portrayed by Annett Crosbee. Margerets best friend Mrs Wareboys is so kind at heart but yet blindingly tack less which makes her one of the funniest characters.While the meldrews are placed in the middle of naibours of whom they cant ascape.Mr swaney comes through and annoys Victor with his unpredictability while on the other side Patrick and Pippa are desperate to move house after the daily disturbances victor has accidentally brought on them.
Watch Cher at her very best live in front of an adoring cool audience. As she sings her heart out so that we feel the full power of her voice. Cher brings passion to the stage with her excellent movement on stage and her dancers bring magic.Cher brings not only cool live rock music to the stage but also glamour as her rock costumes sparkle in the dark.A frilling ride in the Cher extravaganza exasperations it must have been wonderful to be there because its wonderful to watch the DVD. Turn back time,baby i found someone and we all sleap alone with bang bang as well plus covers of rock songs that keep you on the edge of your seat.Cher shows us the meaning of a good show.
EDWARD and MARY the unknown Tudors
10 out of 10 this fantastic documentary was written by the brilliant David Starkey, who adds excitement to the program with his genius narration. hear we journey through the reigns of Edward VI and Mary I. both characters are unique. king Edward who many people didn't know enough till this series aired was a young king but with tremendous courage. Queen Mary is always the Tudor with the blackened name bloody Mary though David Starkey tells us her terrible trauma's that she suffers under the hands of the father king henry and her step mother Anne Boleyn and her tremendous courage rising against the rebellion of the Spanish marriage.both parts blew me away they were so great. I just pray it comes on DVD.
