I had mixed expectations for this movie; I was so excited and hoping for a slam dunk, but I was also fearing the worst. At the end, I guess it wasn't as bad as I feared... but also far from anything special.
It felt like a pilot for a Netflix show; a lot of random characters and storylines that really didn't go anywhere, nostalgia for nostalgia's sake, and it looked surprisingly cheap! Also, the musical numbers were so forced and unfunny... and the only acting job worth mentioning was Keaton's.
There were some giggles and fun ideas here and there, but as a whole this mess wasn't very entertaining and didn't do any justice to the original. I really hope there won't be any sequels or spin-offs.
