This movie's great! I'd watch it again. I will actually make my friends watch it with me again. I couldn't watch Yellowstone because it was so ridiculous. This is actually more believable than that show. Plus, it's funny! And, you actually feel bad for the main character even though he's a victim of his own haplessness. Normally you'd be annoyed by the main character in this situation causing his own problems but not here. David brings a sweetness to the role where you're actually rooting for him. Plus, plus, you've got Charlize, Thandie, and Joel...that's a fantastic cast. It's fast paced. Multiple interlocking storylines, and interesting individual characters. Yes!

I really loved this. It's not supposed to be realistic so those who say it isn't believable aren't getting it. It's a beautiful self discovery story and although it's not really a wilderness survival story it's still a very powerful survival story. It's incredibly moving and anyone who has faced these kind of emotions will relate. Love, love, love. I will be watching it again.

I had high expectations with the cast and crew and they absolutely delivered in their performance. It's brilliant acting. The characters are well developed, highly nuanced, and complex.

There is a giant glaring pitfall though in the narrative. There are so many unnecessary pitfalls in the storyline that make it so completely unbelievable that it's not possible to watch and take seriously even for someone who loves science fiction or fantasy. It's ridiculous the number of deaths and murders that are manufactured.
