The first hour of the movie needed to be 30 minutes. After about 20 minutes the guy sitting next to me in the theatre walked out I was tempted to ask my wife if she wanted to leave, but then something interesting FINALLY happened and we stayed till the end.
It tried to do a lot of commentary on COVID, conspiracies, and social media- but I felt like they mostly missed the mark or didn't coherently communicate whatever message he was maybe trying to tell. The comedy was lacking, and I generally really like dark comedy. The second half was actually entertaining, but the story arcs don't seem to have a good pay off, felt like just random stuff happening with basically no questioned from earlier answered. At the end someone in the theatre said, "that was the worst movie I've ever seen." It certainly isn't THAT bad, but I doubt I'll ever watch it again.

On the one hand it has some really funny moments. On the other hand it feels like one really, really long sketch. It lacks any depth, "feel good moments". Based on these reviews you either seem to love it or "not get it". I guess I fall in the middle. I think it would help if you haven't watched the Netflix show I think you should leave. Also, definitely not as much Paul Rudd as I was hoping for, so be prepared for a lot more of the I think you should leave guy and his style of comedy.
I don't really have much else to say other than it's probably best to watch with a group of people as most comedies usually are.
