Classificação de ggiann-12016
I started watching this series as it was so hyped and persevered several episodes trying to find the edge but I could not. It's hugely predictable, simplistic and stereotypical. It made me reminisce of sex and the city, even though it is outdated now, it's still more inspiring as a talk show on sex that what Joanne and her sister are running. I am writing this as I have decided to stop watching, it's sickly sweet and unimaginative. The characters are in their 40s but lack the complexity and maturity of their age all together, something entirely opposite to Dawson's Creek 20 years ago. Unless you are desperate for idealised romance, I would give that a miss.
Mesmerising, excellent character development, you feel and connect with all the characters, the language makes it even more powerful, the sec scenes complement the film and they don't feel 'raunchy' but part of the story. I binged it and now I miss Rocco and the series. I strongly recommend it. More than it says on the tin.
Each episode has depth and ads a lot to the story, you really feel like you are following a person and a family through an entire life. You also feel the agony and the despair, you really feel for Rocco and love him deeply. The female characters are strong and give a feminist perspective without diminishing the male characters. Masterful directing.
