This is not a drama, and not a comedy. This is chick lit.
At first, Wazowski (played by Meredith MacNeill) is annoying. It's a bit difficult to believe someone so insecure could be a detective. But through the first season, you see her character displaying both compassion and insight. And her character grows on you. Actually all the female characters grow on you, even the villain, who's not nearly as smart as she thinks she is.

For anyone who's read or seen any Greek fantasy, the original myths are far more nuanced. In the Blood of Zeus, the characters are one-dimensional and very predictable. In many places, the dialog was trite. Not worth your time.
