Don't get me wrong , I'd watch Eric Bana paint a living room wall , but he seems a little lost in the plot , but not the beautifully photographed grandeur of Yosemite National park. Throughout the series ( which gets up to an acceptable speed by the midpoint ) , the scenery is the only part of the bizarre and skewed plot lines that holds its own for the entirety. The beginning just doesn't hold muster at all and the ensuing " discoveries " by Bana are just utterly unbelievable in a landscape this large . The writing is very clunky and in several cases , compounded by poor delivery in the shape of the Shane Maguire and Scott Bodwin characters ?! Who cast these two ?

The last episode is a rushed and convoluted affair which has it falling flat on its face I'm afraid.

I'll come back to most of my Netflux criticisms , they undoubtedly know how to spend our subscriptions ( whilst offering us foreign language pulp in the majority of their global catalogues ) and for the second time in several of their follow ups , coerce previously creditable actors with appearing in ill thought out nonsense like this ? The other notable example being Chris Hemsworth in the risible Extraction/2 . Now we can add Uma Thurman to the equation . Have these actresses and actors sold out now ? It's a rhetorical question by the way . This is laughably bad and on a par with the movie making skills from the kid in Spielbergs Super 8 .
