Now, I'm sixteen and I still watch Disney movies more than any other type of movies out there, so some people consider me pretty childish. I don't know if that'll hurt my opinion on this film or not, but I'm giving my opinion anyways.

Mulan is probably one of the best Disney movies of all time. It, along with the Lion King and the Lion King II are probably the only movies I can watch more than once in a day. And yes, I have watched Mulan more than once in a day. And I've rewound (it's VHS. I still live in the '90s. Get over it) some parts over and over during those viewings. This movie is just so fantastic I can hardly put it into words. The music isn't tiresome or annoying like some Disney movies, the message is strong and a good one, and there are some dark elements in it that won't scare the children but will provide a little extra entertainment for adults.

I personally think that this movie should be in every household - whether there are children or teenagers or adults watching, it's fantastic.

Though it doesn't hold up to the wonderful original Balto, this is one of the very few animated film sequels that didn't totally make me gag. The storyline is completely different (thankfully not going the 'Oh, no! Another epidemic!' route one would expect) and the entire movie takes a Native American twist, focusing less of dog-sleds and more on the Wolf roots of both Balto and his daughter, Aleu. The songs are touching and beautiful, my favorites being "Taking You Home" and "Who You Really Are". "Taking You Home" is probably the only song I've ever heard from an animated film that has ever made me cry- and it take a lot to make me cry.

This film, combined with the original Balto film, would be a wonderful little gift pack for anyone who's a fan.

Let me just say that Hugh Laurie's American accent is perfect (he's British). That's a talent in itself.

House (Laurie) is a sarcastic MD who specializes in diagnosing mysterious diseases. He's careless, flippant, he doesn't respect authority (or anyone, for that matter), and he tends to do his job while toeing on the semi-illegal line, yet he's a genius and you can't help but love him. He always figures the cure because he seems to have this obsession with solving problems- he can't just let a mystery slide by.

This show is hilarious and intelligent with just enough drama to suck you in, but not so much that it turns out dull. There are even several surgery scenes for you strange people out there! Anyways, I hope this show goes on for a very long time- it's not like you can run out of story lines with all those diseases in the world, right? Either way, this is one show that NEEDS TO LAST.
