The animation was very poor. Particularly facial animations and lip synching it looks like a PS2 animation from the early's 00's. I did like the black and white style with the red contrast.
I also disliked the fact that the Blood Angels themselves weren't in line with lore. The Blood Angels are meant to be angelic and beautiful as a result of their genetic engineering.
But the voice acting is solid. Some venerable voice actors like Keeble and Rawlins do a great job at bringing the characters to life. The storyline was also decent. But the quality of the janky animation lets it down unfortunately.
Worth a watch though.

Stylish and promising. But fails to deliver. It falls into the emerging niche of "all is not what it seems...twist...white people are bad". Wish is disappointing. The premise has so much potential before trying to engage in some social justice tropes. To the point where the pacing gets thrown off. The first hour is non-eventful and overblown. There's a decent attempt at building an ominous sense of foreboding. But it just fails to deliver in the finale with end result feeling very rushed and underdeveloped.
The film is undoubtedly stylish, beautifully shot with some good performances. But it ultimately falls short.

I could only manage to suffer through 2 episodes. Considering the rich source material from the games, big budget and SFX how it went completely off reservation is beyond me. It completely ignored the source material and bumbles around its own irrelevant universe. It just borrows the name and very little else. Some shockingly bad over acting and a weird teenage soap opera. The production value and SFX are actually quite good. Too bad everything else is a major fail. Please stop butchering the Resident Evil franchise.
