Delightful, funny, easy watch. Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, both
chronically underrated, deliver skillfully funny performances. Both add nuance and depth to their characters and lift the formulaic story up just enough as to delightfully entertain.
Kristen Stewart as Diana was remarkable. She embodied her to the point where I completely forgot it was Kristen and believed it was Diana herself.
I was unable to tell that the the story was the moment Diana decided to leave Charles. I picked that up from reading the description on here. The script was that convoluted. And the music was awful. The entire film, it seemed, had two songs playing repetitively. One of them being some sort of discordant jazz. If the point of the music was to make the viewer feel as miserable as Diana, it worked.
Set design, cinematography, and costumes were all incredible. What a shame that they were wasted on such a trash script.

The true story is remarkable and the telling of it here is well done. Set design, performances, sound design, are all impeccably performed. With every episode, my heart breaks for Marty. I truly hope that he is happy now and living his best life.
