This is definitely not Superman and even less about him. Maybe younger much less knowledgeable people that don't know that much about the character will like this movie, but I definitely did not. I'd take the recent Tyler Hoechlin Superman ten times more than this Superman, and of course there's no way not to compare it to Henry Cavill Superman, and David Corenswet Superman is anything but that.

The most important things about the story of this movie, is that there isn't a single one. But several spit together to try and make one. But when it comes to Superman, you'll see no leadership skills, you'll see no strategy, just him being pulled into one thing after the other. This movie incredible enough is so bad it manages to destroy a crucial part of Superman origins and lore. Something no other movie or TV show did before.

In terms of the other characters, the one that truly shines the most is Mr Terrific and even Guy Gardner to some extent. But at no point can you take any of these characters seriously, because the movie doesn't let you.

The story is all over the place and cartoonish, where characters say some of the most uncharacteristic things, and others like Lex Luthor, do things just because. Because this movie is so bad and DC knows it, they made it so when you're watching the movie you never get an actual moment to really understand how it's failing on all fronts. And that may work for those that know almost nothing about this character, but those that have been following Superman for over two decades, there's no way those things are going to slip through all the mess and acceleration.

We can't really blame the actors and actresses, seeing they do the best with what they had. This is all on one single person... James Gunn. His vision, his ideas, his failure. Gunn shows so little creative capacity that you can easily tell from where he got all the ideas for this movie. Seeing he took ideas even from Superman: The Quest for Peace. And if not for that same movie I'd say this one is the worse Superman movie of them all thus far.

Easily forgettable, this movie represents a huge L for WB and DC. If anything I wish I could unsee this movie.

This movie is awkward in the sense that it leaves out so many important things that it leaves you with no choice but to focus solely on the dinosaurs really because once again the human characters are the weak point.

Scarlett Johansson doesn't really put that much acting into this movie, and her character could've easily been played by any other actress. Her character shouldn't even have had the relevance it had.

Speaking of characters, this movie will leave you forgetting their names and even if they had any kind of background, really because they are so one dimensional and so boring. Which is a shame considering there were some really good talents.

The only thing good about this movie are the dinosaurs, and not even the so called biology that is anything but that. So if you're only going to see it because of them, then you'll get your money worth. But if you're expecting some great acting or story you're not going to get them.

Only some good AI CGI and people getting eaten.
