This movie had potential to be really good, but unfortunately with poorly written, almost non-existent dialog & Jim Carrey as the lead....it just fell flat! The most entertaining part of the entire movie was Koslov's audiobook! I was hoping for one of those American-foreign nailbiter thrillers, but this was lackluster at best & JC in a serious role like this was laughable!

The way it began, too, was confusing....almost like we missed the first 15min & then we had to play catch up, but the movie still never quite got there.

This would've been a better movie if they focused on The Cage & the end was way too predictable!

I am a fan of Stargate from the beginning.... I feel as though the producers & actors didn't do their research. First, pronunciations! It's Naquadah(nak-wa-duh) not Nagada! The pronunciation of the ancient Egyptian is very painful by the main character.

Wardrobe....the eyes! What the heck is up with the bright orange eyes on the Goa'uld?!! And the psychedelic, clubbing wigs!

The Nazis left little to be desired, overacting & subpar talent.

The fight scenes were over-choreographed & looked almost as bad as professional wrestling skits.

I liked the idea of the storyline, but this left a bad taste in my mouth.

I usually love found footage movies but this was a train wreck! First off, Trish...teenager? With learning disabilities, maybe? She acted like an 8yr old! Not listening on the plane, not knowing boundaries...it was extremely annoying. Then the camera IN everyone's face....good FF movies at least give the actors some personal space.idk who gave this thing 4 stars on amaz0n, but they would be lying.

The fake blood was awful too.

There was a lot in this movie that could've been done better. I think it actually had a great storyline...its a shame either the directing or acting was poor...maybe both.
