I think that her acting is much worse than his, but these two have the chemisty of two stiff robots--so okay, not the feeling robots with emotions--trying to connect. This is one of the worst Hallmark movies.

After the first episode, I was definitely not going to watch another one but I hung in there for two more. The murder part of the show has some appeal but I forced myself to drop the show after #3 because the show is a waste of time. Each time I thought, why am I watching this.
After the first episode, I thought, I don't care about any of these people. Fine: addiction, drugs, alcohol, lots of cussing, sex (gay and otherwise), tough types, the stripper being forced to have sex with the cop, the seamy side of life. On and on and on.
I feel like they want me to be shocked. I'm not. What's the point of throwing in everything they can think of into this mess. It's as if they're trying to get a bunch of the garbage of life into one show: I get it, it's GRITTY. A better storyline couldn't hold this show together.
Let's see. Okay, there's some stuff that I didn't see in my youth but I saw plenty, some of which is not in this show, but I'm taken back to some slimy people that I met or watched in my single youth. I don't need to immerse myself in garbage week after week. I don't think this show does anything really for 22 year olds of today, even for those who can relate to being stuck in the throes of drug addiction. This is NOT the show. I'm just indifferent to the characters or annoyed or repulsed by them; I can't think of one that care about.
The show jumps around, and sometimes I think, okay what are we doing now. Which drug dealer is this, or whatever. Our main character doesn't seem to give a damn about much of anything or anyone, and actually she's not worth following, nor is the slimy detective worth it. The old fisheries cop seems like a reasonable character: okay, fine. I enjoy all types of good stories, a wild ride of a one, lots of action, thrillers, some good sci-fi thrown in, whatever.
I post rarely but the show is such a loser and I wasted good time so I had to throw in my opinion, and yes, I have posted good reviews on here too.
