They should ad comedy as genre, right? I haven't seen the 1989 original yet so I can't campare this with the classic but why a lot of bad reviews? You understand this movie isn't a serious one? It is a good laugh, bring out the pop corn kind of movie, at least I think it is. The fighting scenes are mostly good, the acting is allright. I think they made it childish on purpose with a huge amount of violence so why below seven stars? It's well made, the plot is simple yeah I get it but why not? I had a good time watching it and will recommend it to friends. I like it is shot in southern Florida, beautiful locations. Watch it, just see it.

I could give this movie an 8 but I respectevily give it a 7. This movie is funny and it is suppose to be. What do you excpect you people who rate it lower than 6? This movie is suppose to be a fun movie mixed with some violence. This is not a serious crime/Drama flick. This is a lighter version of the 1989 series with David Hasselhoff. He is even in it for a cameo so even Mitch himself (the original) approve this movie. It's a strong 7 for me, nearly an 8. Just have fun, have a few beers n enjoy. Don't hate this movie because it's a Little bit silly. It is suppose to be despite the age limit. Just watch the whole movie.

I don't get the low ratings. I got hooked early on. I love how the show switches back and forth between the timelines clearly without telling you when they do it. For the first episode it was confusing but then I got used to it. I haven't read the book. I guess this kind of genre loses it's magic if you already know how it's gonna end, as most of series and movies does but especially with this kind of genre. This is a clueless ride you're taking on when you start watching this. Overall: The acting is good. The relations between the characters is one of my favorite thing about the serie and the beautiful caribean island half of the show is taking place on. I would recommend to see the show. Some wished it to be a two hour movie instead of the 8 episodes . I can understand that and partly agree on it. If the pace was a bit faster I would probably give it a higher score.
