Tom Cruise proves again that he is the greatest entertainer in Hollywood. He never tries to prove his acting skills or ideology, just ensures his fans get super entertained. He gives it his all in the movie but this was not the best in the series for me. Rogue Nation and Ghost Protocol had a far interesting storyline and cast. It gets quite predictable in places and the last glider stunt was too long and overdone. Still the action is pulsating from the word go and there is no pause in the story.

The nuclear holocaust scenes are beautifully done and overall the movie is visually captivating. I loved the background score also.

Somehow felt a 3-body problem inspiration in some scenes,Overall a great watch if not the best one in the series.

This is the fourth series by Mike Flanagan that I have watched and the most disappointing. Hard to believe that its the same guy who gave us "Midnight Mass". It took a ton of patience to sit through the episodes with no proper plotting. The dream or tucking sequences were most annoying and never ending. The so-called love story had zero chemistry between the pair.

The kids perform really well and T'Nia Miller as the housekeeper is a revelation. The background story with Kate Siegel was nonsensical and boring. None of the horror stuff happens till the parents die so makes no sense.

And who in their right mind will buy a house where so many deaths have happened besides the plague? Besides what kind of person leaves two kids in a house that big and isolated after they have lost their parents. And all these kids have in that island of a house is a housekeeper, cook and gardener. Sheer luck that all three were honest. Victoria Pedretti is good in the first few episodes in PTSD scenes but later seems to have the same reaction in every scene.

Oliver Jackson-Cohen got the most trite dialogues and that awful accent.

Mike Flanagan's shows have the best dialogues but here its just meandering nonsense.

It cannot be disputed that their best Season remains the first one. It had exemplary story, cast and suspense. Both the seasons after that have lacked suspense and lack of intrigue in the story. Season 3 kind of makes up for the poor casting in Season 2 and the impossible fight sequence in the final episode. Season 3 has a brilliant cast with Sonya Cassidy as a brilliant addition who has great chemistry with Reacher. The fight sequences in this episode were great though it was not clear how Reacher got the giant in the water(poor lighting). But overall a very satisfactory end to the Season which had good fights,cast but a threadbare plot.
