I was looking forward to this as a TV series, that way the storyline could have unfolded with more depth and interest of the Terran Empire, though it has had a bit if coverage in ST Discovery.
The story appeared to be rushed, some of the new character's require again more background of who they are and why they are in Section 31. This black ops unit, does require further expansion who they are and what they achieve. Again TV series, even a mini one, 3 to 4 episodes would cover it in my opinion. I am a die hard Trek fan, I'm sure Paramount or their new owners could expand the Trek verse, even giving sets of mini series set in the Klingon Empire, etc.
I still enjoyed the movie, hopefully a more S31 will be forthcoming.

When first read the original comics, I was impressed with the story, the colours used and each characters.
At the time, never would have thought it would become a stunning movie.
I have watched this movies many times and the various formats and editions, including the black freighter cut dvd,Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray.
It's one of my favourite comic book movies among the many that have been made since this was released.
One of the things I prefer is the darker, grittier movies that DC extended universe has released. Zack Snyder seems to have mastered this so well with his interpretation of this movie and subsequent releases. He always appears to have researched the genre so well. I guess the ZS Justice League will be the his last endeavour with DCEU.0.

A far superior movie to the original. Finally get to see Zack's vision., this is the universe ( albeit its now referred to as theSnyder Verse )
A kick up the backside to DC who only want 2 hours max run time. As they seem to want to compete with Marvel, nothing wrong with that, I enjoy there movies as well.
It would be good if DC got there act together for movies, or streaming. In their Multiverse, everything counts.
Come on DC, all you need to do now is to get Zack to do Dark Nights Metal & Death Metal, as a streaming series for HBO Max.
