I walked expecting nothing, and it turned to be worst.. I got a badly written sitcom with capes. Superman gets beat up from the start, the fight scenes are a joke, and Lex Luthor? Somehow worse than the last one. Like if a failed tech bro tried stand-up comedy.
The dialogue treats the audience like we're idiots, narrating every move like a cartoon. And the background whistle? Irritating. They even stop a fight to watch the TV news. Yes, mid-battle. I wish I was joking.
The dog scenes add nothing. Even the dog looked confused. And Green Lantern? I thought he'd be the weakest link; turns out, he was the least terrible part. That says it all.
James Gunn tried to reinvent Superman and instead made a parody. It's not bold. It's just bad.

If you've ever wondered what would happen if a Snapchat ad was stretched into a full-length feature film, look no further (Al Zarfa) is here to answer that. A movie that somehow thinks adding TikTok and Snapchat influencers equals star power. The cast? A collection of social media personalities trying (and failing) to act. It's like watching a long, painfully awkward skit on Instagram Live, but in a cinema.
The plot? If you can even call it that. Gold gets stolen. That's it. That's the whole "twist." And what do they name this oh-so-mysterious treasure? "The Legendary." That's right, zero creativity, zero depth, and zero effort.
And then, as if that wasn't enough, they throw in Robert Knepper. Yes, that Robert Knepper.. famous for one role two decades ago and completely irrelevant now. Bringing him in and pretending the movie is "international" is like Al Hilal signing a retired international footballer who hasn't played a game in 20 years and calling him a "world-class" star.

The Movie is one of those rare sports films that manages to feel both grounded and larger than life at the same time. What really worked for me was that the fictional characters placed so seamlessly into the real Formula 1 world that at times you forget this isn't based on a true story.
Brad Pitt delivers a standout performance as Sonny Hayes. He brings grit, depth, and a quiet vulnerability to the role that pulls you in from the start. Javier Bardem is equally phenomenal..commanding every scene with a mix of intensity and charisma that only he can pull off. Together, they're magnetic. In fact, their acting is so strong it makes the rest of the cast look like background extras. You're watching a movie about racing, but it feels like you're witnessing two masters at work on a different level.
Visually, the movie is stunning. The racing scenes are immersive, but what stood out even more is how the film captured the emotion behind the sport..the pressure, the culture, the obsession with perfection. It's not your typical "win-the-race" plot. It's more reflective, personal, and human.
