The story was well adapted but the selection of Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, and Josh Gad was horrendous! Couldn't they find anyone less ugly or with a less annoying voice?!? Kevin Kline, Emma Watson, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor, and Stanley Tucci were excellent! The beast looked great but some of Belle's dresses were also terrible choices. She went from an evening gown to her underdress with nothing to explain what happened. I was looking forward to it and am very disappointed. The visual was great but the director and editors needed to make better choices and have a much better continuity helper! The original is much better. The whole singing too should be shortened. Who would want more bad singing instead of acting?!?

I have watched only 5 episodes as the awful Lana Parilla ans\d Raphael Sbarge combined to the absolutely ridiculous hairdos and costumes made me decide it wasn't a good way to spend my time. Whoever the hairstylist and costume designer I need to copy the names so I don't have to ever see such horrible things again. Yet, Robert Carlyle, Jared Gilmore, James Dornan, and Jennifer Morrison were great choices. The inclusion of so many characters played by the same actors too was cheap and as imdb has them all misted together, it is hard to keep track of them. A few sets were good but some were difficult to swallow as so many stories were mixed. It is probably why some choices in actors and looks were so poor!

It was cute to watch some people I have never seen anywhere and others as they were long ago. Some of the actors were absolutely great but others were awful. Some episodes were great but the majority were badly conceived and executed. There are a bunch of inconsistencies and the fact that Luthor, which was also played not well, lasted too long. How many times can one character die?!? Then there is annoying and always under a lot of issues Lois. Golly, what an annoying character! Clark and Perry were great! The 1st Jimmy was better than the second but the 2nd was OK too. A few were too badly developed.
