This is definitely not a 1 star movie, not even 2. A 6 may be fair, even a 5 and in worst cases a 4, never a 1. I'm sure that rating comes from hate due to unmet expectations but there are a million other movies way worse than this.

Alex does a good job, and the only other main character is not that bad either. I do agree the SciFi tag does not fit much. If anything, this has some fantasy features, but I do not see where the SciFi part is. The mystery and horror tags are a better fit to the movie. Overall very watchable and a fairly OK movie.

For a blair-witch kind of movie it is not as bad as I expected. The acting is great and the movie is short enough to avoid useless and endless scenes that just don't show anything.

Most of the movies use this "move the camera too fast so the viewer can't see anything". Not this one, or not so much.

I find the genre lame, and when I saw the kind of movie it was I was about to stop it right away, but gave it a chance and it is not too bad.

If you want to see, yet again, another copy of the same superhero stereotyped movie, move along. This movie is not for you.

The CGI is good, but that's not the whole point of the movie as it usually happens with every other superhero movie. There is no 20 minute long final fight with the most expected come back of the villain.

This is a movie about what would happen if true superheroes would exist, rather than a fairy tale. Great acting and a good story, well written and directed.

If you want a fairy tale, skip this, there is a whole world of choices for you to dive in.
