I care a lot

There has been such great films that have been made in the last decade or so. Unfortunately they're mired under all these idiotic reviews. IMDB use to be a alternative to come for rational after rotten tomatoes. Now. As evidenced by this films score, which isn't bad but reciews are so off based completely missing the mark. Now I trust users on fandango. Times change. All of our opinions, especially mine, are subjective yet valid in our own perspective.

Now. This fine film.

I care a lot.

Keep in mind this is a true account of what goes on in this dirty world which makes it somewhat nightmarish.

Perfection! Won't spoil a thing.. I had low expectations, based odd user reviews, but now im going down the rabbit hole of this films writer/director, whom is a rare gem (watch 'Culprits' on Hulu if you take to his style and soundtrack or the disappearance of Alice Freed)

When have you ever seen a bad movie with an exceptional soundtrack or score? Never. This is no different. Its very tightly edited and the music only enhances this captivating engrossing one hell of an experience. Pike delivers like no other. Sp does the rest of the cast. Im finding a lot more incredible films that have been buried under ignorant reviews and ill admit it discourages me. Please. Trust me. This is a stellar movie experience with a perfect ending. BRAVO.

Please don't make the same mistake as I have and wait too long to see this exceptional and maybe one of the best superhero films ever. But silver lining, if you have put it off like I have until recently, Snyder, this cast, the score, the incredible story, will absolutely grip your heart.

Theres mixed feelings pertaining to Synder as a filmmaker. Maybe im among the unpopular opinion believing hes one of the absolute GOAT's. He captures stories in films like no other and in among the very few that warrants seeing all of his films lengthy directors cuts; as deserved!

A quarter way through this film I got the chills seeing--witnessing with total captivation, the tentative superheroes backs stories. They were told and executed perfectly and I don't associate that word lightly when it comes to films. How he managed to put it off leaves me flabbergasted. Then I went down the Synder rabbit hole and watched all of his films. I dont get the hate he attracts but I suspect its when he began dipping his toes in the super world being dedicated fans, deservedly so, demand and have high expectations. But Sydner more than delivers on this, of course imo.

If you haven't already , mske sure to watch Batman verse Superman (extended directors cut). The ending accompanied by Hanns Zimmers brilliant score, will give you goosebumps.

This film has it all. Synder compensates for the action to match with powerful storytelling. Tbh it could have been released in two parts). I personally LOVE AND prefer violent superhero movies and this along with his others do NOT hold back.

Zac Synder has an innate ability to humanize the characters in this movie, even in the short length of time some are given, and making you feel invested, relate, and most of all emphasis with the important characters.

It seems its always the films that I least expect that ultimately stay with me long after the titles.

This is a film that keeps you absolutely captivated and enthralled every frame. The pacing and editing is superb. But most of all its Jennifer Lawrence vehicle showing off her wide range and turning in another refreshing performance. All actors involved for that matter bring their best performances. Joel Edgerton is incredible as always. But its ultimately Lawrence steals the movie with her dazzling performance making it feel very real and grounded. Immersive.

Because of the phenomenal pacing, this film does not let up until the very last frame. And what an ending! I wouldn't necessarily say its an action movie however it is a movie with violent bursts of action sprinkled in. And when I say violent I mean not for the squeamish with intense gory scenes. But thats what elevated this film to a 10 for me, personally. The drama in itself is filled with action packed dialogue! Not sure who edited this film but Bravo! I keep repeating this same sentiment but the editing makes this film non-stop engaging never taken my attention away. The first thing im doing after submitting this review is reading the novel this movie is based on. If I had to guess, the director and screenplays did not shy away from the source material being it consists of brutal scenes that most directors would shy away from reluctant that a studio would typically shy away from.

All in all after the credits roll you'll most certainly have the same reaction as I did..."what the eff?! Bravo" I literally clapped. And the second thing may be, how did i not see this movie until now?! Simply a tour de force that will stay with you long after the film concludes. I urge you to please watch this film immediately. It will itch your senses.
